Albermohn Blanc «Half Moon»
This wine is the pure expression of the power of shelly limestone. This beverage comes from shallow soil with roots limited to the first 40 centimeters, blocked by calcium carbonate precipitations (active limestone). The feeling of slow cooking at the end of summer, the aromatic concentration of the berries, and the heat emanating from the limestone scree on the surface. The lack of water is quickly felt. On the palate, this place takes on its full meaning; one feels the warmth, horizontality, and astringency of the great Muschelkalk, underlined by the broad and dense salivation at the back of the mouth emanating from the surface clays.
