Frohnberg «Chore Mountain»
A cool terroir, the coolest and most humid on the eastern slope of a valley bottom whose opposite slope is covered by forest and a temporary stream during heavy rain. This is the most exuberant and warm expression of gray limestone, a surface soil poor in elements and draining allows free rein to deep root exploration. The warmth and amplitude are very vividly felt on the palate, giving way to the light textured and granular quality of the silt.
